Bridal Shower-Take 2!

July 5th is sneaking up so quickly! This last Sunday I had another bridal shower at my Stepmom, Dee's, house! She incorporated the theme "Country Chic" into everything and it was so adorable! All the dishes were antiques that either Dee had, thrifted, or had her Mom bring! Here was my little plate that my cake was on:

She took one of our engagement photos and used it as the invitation! This is my favorite photo that Marie Clark took of us :)

Here are a few more of her creative Country Chic details as well-

And of course it's not a true party without Pinterest inspired confetti cake batter dip and a banana cake (my absolute favorite!) from Ryke's Bakery in Muskegon. Alex and I are actually having this exact type of cake as the top of our wedding cake!

YUM.

Did I mention we have one more shower next Sunday?! We're so insanely spoiled. Thank you everyone who came! Love you all so much! And thank you again Dee for throwing this shower for me! :)

xoxo, K

Katelyn's Bridal Shower

Today was Katelyn's first bridal shower, which was hosted by all the aunts on my side of the family. We did a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme.

Yesterday was spent in the kitchen for the most part, as my mom and I worked on making French macarons. Of course, they had to be the perfect Tiffany blue color.

We packaged them in these perfect robin's egg blue boxes for party favors.
And how PERFECT is it that Katelyn showed up wearing a Tiffany blue dress and she wasn't aware of the theme! It stayed a surprise until she got here, and she matched the decor perfectly. She was completely taken by surprise and so happy thrilled with the outcome.

The brunch spread was lovely. I, of course, could not keep my hands off the bacon wrapped sausages and the mimosas.

The bride and her mother, my aunt Julie.

The hostesses: aunt Maryann, my mom, aunt Shelly.

Looking forward to the big day for Katelyn & Alex. It's going to be absolutely beautiful and I'm so honored to stand for her as a bridesmaid.

xoxo,
