Although it's only mid-October and snow isn't yet on the grounds of Michigan, we're already thinking about Black Friday. Why, you ask? Because if the two of us girls are afraid of two things, it's the following:
1. Crowds
2. Christmas Shopping
So what do we do to prepare for Black Friday? SHOP ONLINE DEALS!
Here is our list of favorite online stores that we like to shop in order to avoid Black Friday crowds:
Best Buy -
Because there is always someone on that Christmas List
that wants an electronic and the lines at these places are just terrifying!
Target -
This one is self explanatory.
Forever21 -
Again, another larger store where avoiding teenie boppers is ideal.
It's also smart to create a checklist for yourself. This way, you can figure out your budget, and check some things off your list one at a time. Nobody likes to spend one entire paycheck on Christmas shopping, so start early and pace yourself! Try buying one or two items per paycheck, so you aren't panicking about your finances the week before Christmas.
Did we mention you can do things like drink homemade lattes while shopping the same deals as those in the store?
That even leaves you time to hangout with your kitty.

I love that I won't have to get up early and shop the sales. The last time I braved black friday, it was to get a garment steamer for my business that was half price at a department store. I think Matt and I will maybe get something for the house, and maybe some stuff for my office, but otherwise I'm doing all handmade for Christmas this year to save $$.
ReplyDeleteI am TERRIBLE at Black Friday. I have attempted to go out three times and every time walking away with nothing. Every time the stores didn't even have it but it was online and in their ads. Such a waste of time waiting in line for hours!
ReplyDeleteNot going to lie... I may have already thought about Black Friday 3 times in the past 2 weeks...whoops! I entered, thanks ladies!

Yikes, one year we went to best buy RIGHT AFTER Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a nightmare! Never again. Last year we did it online and it was so much easier! That and I was pregnant and did not want to get out of bed and deal with crowds!
ReplyDeleteI actually detest black Friday! But that is ok, because I am usually done shopping by then. I like to start super early and I am totally anal retentive! But these are great picks! I love the bag and the polishes! I am so glad you stopped by my blog so I could find you!! Be blessed! Susan
ReplyDeleteI am all about online shopping! After working retail in HS and college I have so much trouble even going to the mall! Online I can sit in my jammies and try on at home!
