The Limited: Exclusive Shopping Event

Last night I attended an exclusive shopping party at The Limited hosted by my friend Kaitlyn of Artisan Happiness. Because she's such an avid Limited shopper, it just made sense to have an event there. We got some incredible discounts and they had such fun summery prints and designs. I, of course, found another dress that would be perfect for all of the bridal events coming up. Bought it. When in Rome, right?
Picked up these beautiful sunnies the moment I laid eyes on them.

Thank you to Kaitlyn and The Limited for putting on such a fabulous event! I'm so happy with all of the goodies I brought home.

Frances Jaye Shopping Event

Last Thursday evening we attended a shopping event at Frances Jaye boutique in downtown Holland which was hosted by Tieka of Selective Potential. Tieka had been raving about this shop for several months and I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to check it out. It was amazing!

They offered all the shoppers at the event a 10% discount on all products, including their brand new holiday items. I was overwhelmed by the amount of dresses and sweaters I wanted to purchase. They have things for guys + girls, too! The displays were insanely adorable and picturesque.

We are so grateful for having opportunities like this so close to home. It's great to see small businesses in west Michigan participating in blogger/influencer events. It's definitely exciting. Tieka has been so wonderful to gather up so many amazing ladies in Michigan for stuff like this, and we are grateful for her as well.

If any of you ever get the chance to check out Frances Jaye in downtown Holland, I recommend doing so. The owner, Jenny, was so helpful and her entire staff was attentive and sweet. It's definitely worth checking out!

Looking Stylishly Athletic: 101

So great news you guys! Laura and I have decided to join a Kickball league for the spring/summer! We're both pretty athletic. Laura danced her entire life (and was a pretty baller dancer at that), and I played softball my whole life and cheered, even in college for a year. In celebration of using our athletic abilities to awkwardly kick and catch a huge kickball, here's some athletic style inspiration.

Here are a few different Letterman jackets:

Such a cute twist with the floral!
Okay here are a few pics of how I choose to wear mine! I purchased my jacket a few years ago from H&M for super cheap so I would suggest checking them out too! Fingers crossed that this is the last of the photos in the snow for awhile. Happy first week of Spring?

Nothing pairs as well as some Chucks do with your on the go look.

This has to be the FUNNIEST picture of Syrus of all time!!

That's all for now!
xoxo, K

Laura's Spring Wishlist

Spring Wish List

Michigan, you disappoint me. It's currently snowing like crazy outside and the roads were awful on the way to work this morning.
I have never had spring fever so bad in my life. I NEED pastels, florals, and sunshine in my life. For now, I will try to stay warm and keep my chin up. Really hoping warmer weather is around the corner.

 xoxo,
 Laura
